Did you know that reliable electricity is essential for wastewater lift station operations? When a lift station loses power, the collection system is at risk of wastewater backups and potential environmental spills.

When a contractor accidentally damaged the power line serving the Hiero wastewater lift station and disrupted operations, the Liberty team took the opportunity to strengthen electrical reliability for the station, which serves our customers in Gold Canyon.

Instead of just repairing the damage, our team installed a new 200-amp power feed, an electrical meter, and added a new backup generator. Together, these improvements reduce the likelihood and duration of power outages, helping to deliver uninterrupted wastewater service for customers, lower the risk of sewer backups, and better protect local waterways and the surrounding environment.
