Projects
Replacement of two separate runs, approximately 600 feet total, of 12” sewer line under Yavapai Dr. Because the existing line is at the end of its useful life, this project also includes repaving.
Replacement of well pump/motors at the Well 52, Well 5, Well 8, and Well 86 facilities due to declining performance. The replacement units are more efficient and will help increase service reliability.
Where possible, replaced end-of-service-life existing electrical controls with Soft-Start or Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) components. This replacement will help reduce water hammer, thereby increasing overall efficiency.
Ongoing replacement of service lines that are reaching the end of this useful lives. This helps increase water service reliability and reduces the potential for water loss due to leaks.
Replacement of manually-read meters with AMY meters, thereby increasing efficiency. The meter replacements also help reduce water loss caused by the ageing meters.
