Liberty is committed to delivering a safe, reliable, and resilient water supply to meet the current and future needs of the growing West Valley. As population and development accelerate in communities like Litchfield Park, Goodyear, and Avondale, Liberty continues to invest in water infrastructure that can support long-term growth and enhance service reliability.
The Monument Point Well is the latest addition to Liberty’s water source investments, and is the third groundwater source to be added to our water system in the past two years. Located at the corner of Camelback Rd. and N. Wigwam Creek Blvd., this well is designed to deliver up to 650 gallons of water per minute from a depth of 620 feet.
Final equipment installation and rigorous water quality testing are currently underway, with the well expected to be operational by September 2025. Once online, Monument Point will join Well 19B and Marbella Well 2, strengthening Liberty’s groundwater supply to meet current and future demands and increasing system resilience against drought conditions.
This project demonstrates our commitment to building a water system that supports our residential and business customers, enables growth in the West Valley, and helps safeguard a thriving, sustainable community for generations to come.
