Rates reflect the cost to maintain and improve infrastructure, deliver safe and reliable water services, and provide customer care.
Water Rates
As ordered by the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC), Liberty Utilities filed a Rate Application to recover the costs necessary to continue providing safe and reliable water and wastewater services. Additionally in this process, the ACC approved the consolidation of the following utilities into a single entity:
- Liberty Utilities (Cordes Lakes Water) Corp.
- Liberty Utilities (Bella Vista Water) Corp.
- Liberty Utilities (Beardsley Water) Corp.
- Liberty Utilities (Rio Rico Water & Sewer) Corp.
As a result, the new consolidated rates shown in the tariff will be effective July 1, 2025, and will apply to all customers served by these systems.
Water Rate Application 2023
Liberty has filed a rate application in December of 2023 with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) to adjust water rates.
Water Rates - Effective May 1, 2018
Meter classes are determined by a number of factors, including how water is used on the premises. Your meter class can be found on the first page of your Liberty bill.
Tiered Rates
Liberty’s water bills include tiered rates for water consumption to promote conservation and allow customers to have more control over their water bills.
